The RN RRT will perform surveillance by identifying the patients at risk for complications or becoming seriously ill by using proactive approach, making rounds frequently to collaborate with the bedside nurses as part of consultation without intimidating the bedside nurses. Consistent and routine presence of RN RRT will provide nurse's support, clinical knowledge and expertise to build trust and familiarity amongst each other. The RN RRT should take the role of teacher both during and after the event in order to best help the inexperienced nurses. What qualifications you will need: Graduate of an accredited program of nursing: diploma, associate degree, or baccalaureate program. Employee completes initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line, facility and department/unit, which are specific to the needs of the patient population served (if applicable). Must have 3-5 years of recent experience in an ICU or an ER. Charge nurse experience Preferred Required: Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas. Required: Current ACLS, NIH stroke scale This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
