Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date) Current American Heart Association BLS Certification as well as ACLS Come be a part of a one of a kind Ortho unit in a one of a kind facility with a dedicated 30 Beds with great physicians to work with:5:1 RN ratioHandling on occasion some Med Surg OverflowCustomer service driven 95% resultsPerforming physical assessments and therapeutic and diagnostic proceduresDischarge planning and coordinating patient care with other members of the interdisciplinary health care teamMonitoring neurovascular statusPerforming external fixation care, casting and continuous motion therapyAdministering treatments and medicationsProviding post-operation careHelping patients with therapy and provide aid for faster recuperationProviding leadership, motivation and clinical expertise in the managementNavigates an orthopedic patient from the diagnostic phase through the treatment and follow-up phases, assuring patient has appropriate/timely medical/supportive servicesFacilitates optimal length of stay and appropriate utilization of Hospital resources.
